Due to the impact of COVID-19, the mock classes and open campus events that are usually held this year will not be held this year. Therefore, we have started posting videos of lectures by faculty Faculty Member in order to let you know about the educational content of our department. Department of Ecoregion Science
Thinking about how society should be to solve various problems such as conservation, management, and utilization of ecosystems and resources, we will consider the new role of wild animals, natural vegetation, forests, green areas, farmland, agriculture and forestry, and rural culture, and the harmony between humans and nature. The aim is to think about issues from a local to a global scale. We aim to develop human resources who can study problems from a broad perspective in the actual field and come up with solutions using bottom-up thinking.
Educational goals Department of Ecoregion Science regards forests, rural areas, and cities as a continuous region, and focuses on agricultural practices and the diverse relationships between nature and human activities. It aims to equip students with knowledge of regional management and planning through collaboration between natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences, and to train competent problem-solvers for companies, research institutes, government agencies, and local communities.

Department of Ecoregion Science is located on the Fuchu Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Technology.
Directions by Train Get off at "Kokubunji Station" on the JR Chuo Line and take the "Fuchu Station bound bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from South Exit Platform 2 for about 10 minutes and get off at "Harumicho" bus stop. Get off at Keio Line "Fuchu Station" and take the "Kokubunji Station South Exit Bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from the North Exit Bus Terminal Platform 3 for about 7 minutes and get off at the "Harumicho" bus stop. By JR Musashino line, Kita-Fuchu Station
