Joint Memorial Ceremony for TUAT 140th Foundation Anniversary and 50th Alumni Association Foundation Anniversary

On September 19th 2014, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology held “Joint Memorial Ceremony for 140th University Foundation Anniversary and 50th Alumni Association Foundation Anniversary” at Fuchu-no Mori Gekijo.
In the ceremony, there were many distinguished guests including the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr. NISHIKAWA, the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Mr. AKAIKE and the Member of the House of Representatives, Mr. TSUCHIYA. From TUAT, the university president Prof. MATSUNAGA, trustees and concerned personnel attended the ceremony.
In addition, the Member of Presidential Advisory Board of Indonesia, Prof.Ginandjar Kartasasmita also attended the ceremony. He delivered a congratulatory speech in Japanese based on how his university days at TUAT were fruitful.
