Introduction to Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine
We have close educational ties with Iwate University, and in 2012, we were reorganized into Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine as a veterinary medicine base in eastern Japan. Currently, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology has the Animal Medical Center and the Center for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Prevention Research, while Iwate University has the Animal Hospital and the Animal Medicine Food Safety Education and Research Center. We aim to train veterinarians in the fields of livestock hygiene and public health, and to acquire advanced veterinary medical techniques.
Educational goals
Based on the philosophy that veterinarians should contribute to the health and welfare of both humans and animals, this Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine trains talented individuals with an international perspective who can contribute to the provision of advanced veterinary medical care, human health and food safety, and the development of life science research.

Cooperative Department of Veterinary Medicine is located on the Fuchu Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Technology.
Directions by Train Get off at "Kokubunji Station" on the JR Chuo Line and take the "Fuchu Station bound bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from South Exit Platform 2 for about 10 minutes and get off at "Harumicho" bus stop. Get off at Keio Line "Fuchu Station" and take the "Kokubunji Station South Exit Bus (via Myojo Gakuen)" from the North Exit Bus Terminal Platform 3 for about 7 minutes and get off at the "Harumicho" bus stop.
